Biography

Giulio Iacchetti was born in Castelleone in 1966 and trained mainly in Lombardy, between Milan and Crema, combining studies and apprenticeship with intense self-taught practice. The author gradually established himself in the panorama of Italian design, until 2000, when, together with Matteo Ragni, he designed the Moscardino cutlery, which won the Compasso d'Oro and entered the collection of the MoMa in New York.

To this day, Giulio Iacchetti continues his illustrious research on the relationship between artisan reality and design, creating furnishings and accessories inspired by Italian ways of doing and living, without neglecting innovative and visionary characteristics.
