Faye Toogood

Faye Toogood is a British artist and designer. Her experimental practice seeks to explore and dismantle the hierarchies between design and art, functional form and sculpture. Faye and her team create timeless works of unconventional design, including but never limited to furniture, interiors and homeware. At the centre of every Toogood project is a restless spirit of experimentation, and a joy taken in process and play. On each project, designers, furniture makers, sculptors, and interior designers cross-pollinate to produce work that is bold and sculptural, but always designed for everyday use. Her works have been acquired for the permanent collections of institutions worldwide, and she has exhibited in institutions such as Victoria & Albert Museum, Triennale, National Gallery of Victoria and many more.
