Description
Inspired by the traditional Persian garment, the luminous object Chador has a straight and simple shape. Chador is available in two different hues: the combination of the primary colors - yellow, red and blue - and black. As on a screen, the spots of color spread sinuously, creating unique and original results. Adding peculiarity and irony to Chador, two feet with shoes support the object.

Edizioni del Pesce, the imperfect collection

The objects that make up Edizioni del Pesce embody the concept of multidisciplinary design. A series that exploits the tension between the design concept and mass production. This very seriality is questioned by the artisanal processes experimented within Gaetano Pesce's workshop, where he and his collaborators establish a working method that Meritalia® then learns, preserves, and applies: the foundation of its project and product culture.

With Edizioni del Pesce, Meritalia®'s great merit lies in supporting the creation of one-of-a-kind objects — unique pieces that express a constant desire to experiment. The materials chosen to create them, resin and extruded polyurethane, are manipulated through techniques that exploit their malleability and hardness.
Edizioni del Pesce, the imperfect collection

The materials of Edizioni del Pesce take on different hues, and the shapes play with shades and contrasts to achieve unrepeatable solutions that bridge the worlds of design and art. Drawn from a corpus of diverse objects created by Gaetano Pesce, and curated in a selection of vases, lamps, mirrors, candelabras, and objects, the Edizioni del Pesce characterise a contemporary, fluid, and multifaceted domestic space, which becomes as personal as a unique artist’s piece.
